Shri Gaurav Dhyan Chand, President of the Dhyan Chand Foundation, had the privilege of presenting medals to some of the world’s finest para-athletes at the prestigious New Delhi 2026 World Para Athletics Grand Prix, held at the iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
On the occasion, Shri Gaurav Dhyan Chand expressed his sincere gratitude to the Paralympic Committee of India for bestowing upon him the honour of felicitating these extraordinary champions. He noted that the courage, resilience, and dedication displayed by para-athletes truly embody the highest spirit of sport and serve as a powerful source of inspiration for society.
The medal winners in the Women’s 100m Run (T35/T37) Final were:
Gold Medal – Preeti Pal (India)
Silver Medal – Margarita Mataeva (Russia)
Bronze Medal – Karina Machulskaia (Russia)
